An irresistible urge to behave in a certain way, especially against ones conscious wishes, defines a compulsive behavior. If you tend to think of compulsion only as an addition to a substance, or behavior (gambling, shopping or binge eating), think again... What about useless worry, anxiety, or chronically sacrificing yourself by saying "yes" too often. These, too, are behaviors that can be expressed without conscious action.

By honestly answering the questions below, reliable and valid measures of your compulsion will be attained.  Mild, moderate, and severe levels of compulsion will be measured.

SCALE: 0 = does not apply; 1 = rarely; 2 = occasionally; 3 = frequently; 4 = often; 5 = always
